Attam
Attam is an opportunity to see a collection of rare pieces of Bharata Natyam choreography presented by national touring company Sankalpam, with local dancers. The evening is dedicated to the pioneering spirit of Rukimini Devi Arundale who dared to challenge and develop the traditions of Bharata Natyam to create new and exciting dance.
Attam is an acknowledgement of her huge contribution to the style and how the technique continues to unfold.
