The 48 Almost Love Lyrics/The Pugilist - T0596943208

The 48 Almost Love Lyrics - Channeling variety shows, movies, shredded VHS tapes and old vinyl Wendy Houstoun attempts to track down the meaning behind the message. Combining the movement, text and humour she has become associated with, the piece includes new film footage of the inner workings of Laban taken during Laban Summer School 2003. The Pugilist - follows the path of two men on the same journey - both are trying to overcome their fears and truly live as free men. A cross-art form display of music, drama and dance combined with stylish and gritty humour from Benji Reid - the master popper and alchemist of physical theatre.
