Pact with Pointlessness - T655855040

Pact With Pointlessness is a new work by acclaimed performer and choreographer Wendy Houstoun. It is a game of opposites, a play of discrepancies, an urgent text of chaos uninterrupted by disturbing coherence. All at once, it is author and cipher voicing everything and nothing - ghosted by old-time patter, high-altitude confusion, empty dramas, hyperlinked reality, breaking news, more breaking news and meaningless movement. It is an all or nothing kind of event. A do or die kind of affair. Pact with Pointlessness is funny and moving in equal measure, and follows hot on the heels of her highly successful 50 Acts, winner of the 2013 TMA award for achievement in dance and nominated for the Critics Circle National Dance Awards.
