After the Prime Minister's announcement it would appear that, subject to continued control of the virus, venues may re-open with social distancing and limits on audiences from 17th May. Xzibit is an award-winning choreographic programme with professional mentoring that supports young people to create and present their own choreography. Curated by Nottingham-based dance artists Gareth Woodward, Xzibit is supported by Dance4, Inspire Youth Arts and Lakeside Arts. Xzibit and Episodes are part of U.Dance 2020 in the East Midlands. One piece from Xzibit will be chosen to take part in Young Creatives national programme led by One Dance UK and be part of the Royal Opera House's Young Talent festival.

Curated by Gareth Woodward and developed in partnership with County Youth Arts, Xzibit Young Creatives, is a choreographic programme that aims to enhance young people's skills and knowledge of choreography and gives them the opportunity to present their own work in a professional environment. You will see a collective of specially selected young choreographers present the results of their hard work after a 3 month intensive program consisting of workshops, masterclasses and demonstrations from both nationally and internationally recognised dance leaders. Xzibit is presented as part of a weekend of Youth Dance at Nottingham Lakeside Arts.
