Bristol Festival of Puppetry
Archive :: production:T877353625, festival:S333144141, venue:V1384579886
In late August, Puppet Place casts its spell over the Factory and Brewery Theatres once again with a concoction of puppetry and animation to enchant, delight and provoke. This year we invite you to explore the outer reaches of the puppetry-verse. Delve into the myriad strange and twisted worlds that puppets inhabit and delight in the wonderful characters animated by some of the most consummate and skilful performers on our own doorstep and from the rest of the world. As in previous years, there will be something for everyone and all ages. Alongside the programme of shows and films, there will be an exhibition featuring some of Aardman's best known characters, the late night Smoking Puppet Cabaret and the stupendous Creatures of Southville Carnival returning to the streets to celebrate the opening of the Festival.
