International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF) is back this July and we can't wait to celebrate the return of live performance with you. Join us for a summer filled with theatre, circus, puppetry, music and more by talented emerging artists from across the country. IYAF will bring the Rose Theatre and outdoor locations across the town centre alive with brilliant stories and performances for all ages.

The 10 day festival will see young people from around the world come together to celebrate the arts in multiple venues across Kingston including spectacular outdoor events. IYAF is created and produced by young people, giving young people opportunities not only as performers, but as event managers, producers, creators and innovators. Celebrate the budding talents of young people in this dynamic new summer festival at the Rose - with local, national and international youth drama and school groups contributing to a fantastic programme of events. Professionally-run creative workshops for young people will feature alongside performances by visiting international companies, with the opportunity for everyone to join in a major outdoor celebration outdoor event co-ordinated by Bohemian Events, festival and carnival specialists. At the heart of the festival will be a new production of Pendragon, a spectacular piece of music theatre that tells the story of the early years of King Arthur and is created especially for the festival by The Ragged Child team.

In collaboration with Oxford City Council twinning office Youth groups from Oxford, Bonn, Grenoble, Leiden, Perm and TorĂ¼n come together to share their culture and history in a series of performances, workshops and events at community venues around Oxfordshire. Highlights of the festival include a week of performances at the Oxford Playhouse from 14th to 18th July, a street theatre parade in Oxford City on 19th July and culminating in a specially created performance at the Town Hall the same afternoon.
