The Forgotten Christmas Elf

The Forgotten Christmas ElfT754350879
A brand new theatre show for 2 - 7 year olds staged in All Saints Church (Mondays) and Richard Mayo Hall (Saturdays) After the incredible success of last years' Christmas workshops Story Storks are returning to All Saints Church in Kingston this year to present their first theatre show specially written for 2 to 7 year olds. Using the interactive principles of Story Storks workshops, this one hour show will feature counting, phonics, Christmas, fairytales, singing, dancing, puppetry direction from a Warhorse puppeteer and all the madcap comedy that Story Storks workshops are famous for. Inspired by the true story of Jerry Joyce, a Bentalls employee who invented a Christmas Elf especially for Kingston, our show is set in the Children's Library where a little girl accidentally leaves her toy behind on Christmas Eve. As the library closes a little elf appears, Cracker Chimes, who finds the toy and agrees to help him get home. Story Storks will be turning All Saints Church and the Richard Mayo Hall into theatre venues which will include 'time-out' areas for children who might need a break from the performance. In addition children will receive a trail as part of their program where they can hunt for Cracker Chimes around Kingston, travelling from the Bentalls Grotto to the Children's library. This will also include a recent history of Christmas in Kingston and the story of how Jerry Joyce's Christmas elf was forgotten.....almost!
