One Christmas Eve Maria is given an old toy by her favourite Uncle, but this is no ordinary toy and Maria and her brother are soon cast into a world of weird and wonderful adventures. E.T.A. Hoffman's magical tale of the toy that comes to life, the Mouse King that he fights and the child that loves him, is brought to life in a new and original musical for all the family.
