Winter Pictures is a collection of stories, anecdotes and poems told by two mice. Come and see the adventures of Biscuit and Frenzly, as they enjoy the glorious sunshine of the summer. But winter approaches and they face hardship hidden in a hole at the base of a tree. Biscuit, ever practical, collects food to sustain them over the coming months. Frenzy, on the other hand, collects memories and pictures of beautiful things which will serve to cheer them up during the bleakness of winter. When their food runs out, they live on treasured memories and stories of spring, summer and autumn...By seeing and hearing their memories, secrets, fears and their dreams, this gentle, poetic performance touches on experiences which are at the centre of the lives of many little children - friendship, fear of being lost, loss, being naughty and being good, and hopes and dreams. Accompanied by a sub-score of live music commissioned especially for the production. Age 4-8 years.
