T1689195229The Wind in the Willows (The Musical) is a new family show with a wonderfully British score and a host of iconic characters lifted from the pages of Kenneth Grahame's world famous tale. This adaptation has a book by Julian Fellowes, the Oscar winning creator of Downton Abbey, and music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, the Olivier award winning team behind a string of recent smash hit musicals including Mary Poppins, Peter Pan and the new Half a Sixpence. Modern-day musical credentials don't get much better than this! The original production enjoyed a successful run at the London Palladium during the summer of 2017 followed by a nationwide cinema broadcast. The amateur licence became available in late 2018, and SOS is therefore delighted to be one of the first amateur companies to be bringing this exciting new work back to life, right here on the NST Campus stage. And it couldn't be in better hands. So come and join Ratty, Badger, Mole and Toad as they embark on a series of riotous adventures driven by Toad's unquenchable need for speed. But hold on tight | |
