For the past eight years Julian Cope has been travelling to some of the remotest places in Britain researching his guide book to Megalithic Britain. The book shines a light into the shadowy areas of a modern people who have been hoodwinked into believing their history began with the Roman Conquest. What's more, Julian Cope also has plenty to say about how it can help us reconcile where we are now. Now he takes the book out on the road to talk about his discoveries and answer questions from the audience. Julian Cope was training to be a teacher when he got waylaid by rock stardom. After being frontman for Liverpool band the Teardrop Explodes, he became an eclectic, an antiquarian, and most recently the author of his first novel - which might just be a work of genius... We are delighted to welcome Julian back to Liverpool where he joins us to read from and discuss his first novel "131".Performers Julian Cope.
