Sheila Steafel's acclaimed one woman show is fast, quirky and plain fun. A Victorian Music Hall extravaganza which takes occasional swipes at the Establishment, with songs, sketches, chat and even the odd (very odd) bit of choreography. Hilarious, witty and thoroughly entertaining, this show is highly recommended. Sheila Steafel’s intimate revue draws on her vast experience as a comic actress from starring in The Frost Report in the 1960s, to playing Meg in The Birthday Party to great acclaim at Bristol Old Vic last autumn. She sings, she dances - to the accompaniment of a live piano - and she jokes and plays a whole host of characters: from octogenarian prima ballerina to mittel-European tour guide who is better at describing her disastrous marriage than the city sights.
