Details

Determined to find a husband for his beautiful daughter, Isabeau, King Raimondo organises a 'Tournament of Love' in her honour. Knights from around the country assemble to demonstrate their affection for the young Princess. But, to the King's dismay, Isabeau refuses to choose a suitor. As punishment the King forces Isabeau to ride naked on horseback through the town. While the people refuse to look, Folco, the King's falconer, accidentally glimpses her and is arrested. Visiting Folco in prison, Isabeau falls in love with him, a passion which is doomed.
