5pm No Particular Afternoon
T0527608566
5pm No Particular Afternoon explores the stories people need to tell to confront loss and the gaps that people leave in our lives. A lovesick girl, a disturbed man, a disillusioned woman and a heartbroken boy have lost their way. Stories take on a life of their own as shadows dance across the walls while people disappear in a dark and unnerving landscape. Playful and imaginative, the piece explores how the act of telling and re-telling stories enables characters to find new perspectives and understand the necessity of allowing life's experiences to change them. The play has been devised using shadow play, projection and a haunting soundscape to create a dark and brooding internal landscape in which the characters are stuck.
