An Arrangement of Shoes is a moving, personal and energetic one-woman show set in an Indian railway colony. On the eve of her grandfather's burial, Rukhsar searches through her memories for something that will help her reconnect with her past, her grandfather and . . . his shoes. Spirited and engaging, Rukhsar brings her home and family to life; in revisiting their shared past she relates an intriguing history - not only her own, but also of the first Gulf War and its wide-reaching consequences.
