Are You Being Served?

T218694680
Double entendres are non-stop as the well-loved staff of Grace Brothers prepare first for a sale of German goods and then depart for a staff holiday at a one-star hotel in Spain. Will the tropical heat, Spanish crumpet, giant woof'n'poofs and randy revolutionaries prove too much for our happy band? Not a bit of it! With the aid of a nun's habit, a bowler hat and Mrs Slocombe's Union Jack knickers they survive their holiday with everything intact except their modesty.
Author Jeremy Lloyd

User Review: 28Nov05: Don’t panic! There’s more to Christmas than panto - there’s Wick Theatre Company’s hilarious Sitcom Special to guarantee some fast and furious fun early in the New Year. This features an episode of the popular TV comedy Are You Being Served? written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft. The staff of Grace Brothers department store is busy with preparations for the firm’s annual holiday, which are causing more than a few problems. Mrs. Slocombe must find a temporary home for her pussy, Mr. Grainger’s travel pills have upset his tummy and the management is insisting on vaccinations for all. But in spite of everything, the customers are still being served - and Mr. Humphries is free. A large cast features many well-known faces at the Barn, and also introduces several new ones. Peter Thompson directs.
