Production details

Catherine Wheels’ adaptation is radical: condensing the original play from 3 hours to 70 minutes, from 26 actors to just 3. By simplifying a complex story and by using this small cast in a one-act structure, the production focuses in on the main characters of Roxanne, Christian and Cyrano. With a dynamic physicality, Cyrano has an eclectic style with a flavour of 17th century France. Age 10+ Weston Theatre
