Dirty Fan Male

T2146598836
A diffident, almost apologetic narrator (Jonny Trunk) tells the true story of how his sister worked as a soft-porn model and how she and some of her colleagues set up a fan club. The bulk of the show consists of letters they received (guaranteed authentic) which are read and occasionally sung with great panache by Duncan Wisbey. And what letters! Letters written in gold ink with secret passwords, letters which begin "You are my Number One fan", disgustingly scatological letters which end "Yours sincerely", reports on exploits with inflatable dolls, letters which recall Nathanael West's Miss Lonelyhearts (only they are far more lurid). Faced with such things, we can hardly avoid reflecting what sad lives lots of men live, but we are soon through to the other side of dismal and engulfed in pure hilarity.
