Tewkesbury Arts & Drama Society (TADS) presents a new adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's Dr. Faustus. This production follows the tragic hero on his rise from lowly busker to celebrity chart topper as his biggest flaw, obsession with fame and wealth, eventually leads to his downfall. Featuring traditional and original blues music, TADS has created this new slant on the original story, but they still remain true to much of Marlowe's brilliant original text. This award-winning society has an excellent reputation for high-quality productions, so come and witness local acting talent, plus musical performances by members of excellent local bands, in this exploration into greed and the appeal of celebrity.Presented byTewkesbury Arts & Drama Society.
