Dysfunction

Hearing people have dysfunctional families: Deaf people have dysfunctional families. This family is no exception! Deaf parents Nigel and Sue battle their way through the 23rd year of their marriage; their son has killed himself; Sue's sister is an alcoholic; and now Sue's hearing niece has come to live with them. Dysfunction examines the lack of communication in all relationships through this 'funny and perceptive' piece of experimental theatre. A production for hearing and Deaf audiences alike, Dysfunction is an 'innovative piece of visual theatre, using wry humour to explore the otherwise bleak world of the modern family'.
