Fighting the Waves
Mary O'Malley, founder of the Lyric Players in 1951, was heavily influenced by the work of W.B. Yeats. His writings proved to be a constant presence and influence on the work that she brought to Belfast through the work of the Lyric Players' Theatre and all throughout the political tension in Northern Ireland Yeats' writings would resonate. Fighting the Waves
