'So it should be done here, in the open air. Open to the sky and hills . London Bubble s 'walkabout performance style provides a fun and liberating way to experience live theatre in some of London s finest parks and woodlands. The audience follow the performers around the park, and as darkness falls and spells are cast London Bubble will bring Pratchett s world to life. The play happens all around and goes deep into discworld. Magrat is to marry the foolish King Verence II. But the carnival atmosphere will soon be shattered. Crop circles are appearing at an alarming rate, and not just in the fields; the Dancers are whispering; sweet music is in the air...and that can only mean one thing... Who can help? The bumbling wizards of the Unseen University, including a librarian in the shape of an ape? The world s second greatest lover Casanunda the dwarf? The Lancre army of one? Or the witches with a penchant for borrowing the minds of others? Time is running out for the fearless pensionable duo, Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg... not only is there a young troupe of wanna-be witches on the scene, but also imminent is a head-to-head with the Queen of the Fairies. The beautiful, shimmering LORDS AND LADIES are coming. Witch way now? London Bubble Theatre are casting their spell in the following parks during their 1999 summer tour: Valentine's Park, Ilford IG1 - 20-24 July, Greenwich Park SE10 27 July - 1 August, Chiswick House Grounds W4 3-8 August, Oxleas Woods, Shooters Hill, SE9 10-15 August, Beckenham Place Park, Bromley BR3 17-22 August, Dulwich Park SE22 24-29 August.
