The Bald Prima Donna

The Bald Prima DonnaT154174120
The trials and tribulations of 1950's suburban English life parodied in Ionesco's classic absurd comedy. Mr and Mrs Smith's living room on a typical English afternoon. They are typically English and speak of typically English things. However, the English evening is interrupted by some unusual guests. Who are Mr and Mrs Martin and where have they been for the last four hours? Will the maid Mary ever use her chamber pot? Will the irresistible Fire Chief ever find a fire? What exactly is going on? What has Bobby Watson got to do with al this and most importantly... Who is The Bald Prima Donna? In the words of Mary "Who could possibly be interested in prolonging this misunderstanding? and "lets make no attempt to find out".
Author Eugene Ionesco
