CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned general re-opening time. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. A few pantomimes may be possible but we await a relaxing of the rules for theatres from the Government.

T1507265052 McDonagh's first play. 1996 Writers' Guild Award Winner - Best Fringe Theatre Play. Set in a small cottage in the mountains of Connemara, The Beauty Queen of Leeane tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her forties and Mag, her manipulative, ageing mother. When Mag interferes in Maureen's first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship, she sets a chain of events in motion that lead inexorably towards the play's terrifying denouement. Contains scenes of an adult nature.
