The Censor

The CensorT0734850454
A love story with a twist, the play tells the story of Miss Fontaine, a producer of pornographic films, and her attempts to seduce the man holding the Censor's scissors, whilst also convincing him of the artistic merit of her extremely graphic porn film. The play is most famous for a scene in which Miss Fontaine fulfils the Censor's sexual fantasy by defecating in front of him. Winner of 1997 Writers' Guild Best Fringe Theatre Play award.
