The Day the Fairy Dust Landed
T0369290331
A live, animated, psychedelic disaster movie. The classic, deep husky, voice over "It was probably the last thing that Brighton needed, the arrival of a cloud of psychedelic fairydust from outer space." This unique and innovative style of theatre, blends projected cartoons and storytelling, is a visual extravaganza of comedy and larger-than-life characters. Ageing ex-rocker, Rod Grimstead's retirement is transformed when psychedelic fairy dust turns the world into a cartoon, Rod and his family embark on an adventure to the centre of the earth, where Rod re-discovers the optimism of the 1960s. Inspired by the Prog-Rock concept albums of the late 1960's and early 70's, and The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" movie.
