Why Not Stay For Breakfast? archiveGeorge Clarke is a civil servant, a respected member of the Establishment, living quite happily on his own in a flat in Hampstead - until Louise Hamilton, a young and very pregnant girl, arrives on his doorstep. In this wonderfully funny play we see George's ordered life turned upside down when he offers her refuge and is soon bombarded with babies, nappies and Louise's ex-lover.
