London's leading networking event for film-makers. Tonight's Salon tackles the issue of film criticism in the UK, how it has changed in recent years. Subjects will include the thorny topic of why there are so few female film critics currently represented in key publications. We will examine how reviews can make or break a film's commercial release. Hosted by Nick Walker, the panel will include Jonathan Romney, film maker and critic for the Independent; Julien Petley, lecturer/author, Jeremy Bolt, producer of Resident Evil; Danny Perkins, distributor/Optimum Releasing and John Marriott, journalist & Chair of Critics Circle.
