Christopher Gable (1940-1998) was a star of the Royal Ballet, famous for his partnerships with [Lynn Seymour] and [Kenneth MacMillan], he moved into straight theatre with the Royal Shakespeare Company (directed by [Peter Brook]) and in London's West End (with [Judi Dench]). His film credits include [Ken Russell]'s "Delius", "Women in Love", "The Music Lovers", "The Boyfriend" and "The Rainbow"; as well as [Brian Forbes]' "The Slipper and the Rose". He returned to dance to become Artistic Director of Central School of Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre.
