- The Riverside Players, London. Formed 1951 by former students of the Central School of Speech and Drama. Productions start on a green field site and fourteen days later depart leaving a slightly marked, yellowy green field. In between, a complete outdoor theatre is built - stage, set, lightiing, sound and seating - and a production of a high standard and competence is rehearsed and performed for five nights.
