Professional Scottish Theatre company. Artistic Director - Charles Nowosielski. Dedicated to performing new work of playwrights based in Scotland (often in Scots language)and new interpretations or translations into Scots of classic drama (Chekhov, Shakespeare etc) with original live music. Particular fondness for outdoor venues. Main activites focused on Edinburgh Festival Fringe.Two great premieres for Fringe 2000. Nowosielski has developed an exciting style which can only be called "Albaesque": stylised movement-based, intense emotion, magical, highly theatrical. The .mpr branch of the company is involved with adult leisure classes in drama and issue based theatre for a variety of client groups including local authorities and private business.
