CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned general re-opening time. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. A few pantomimes may be possible but we await a relaxing of the rules for theatres from the Government.

Bourne Youth Theatre
The Youth Theatre was formed in 1993 by Paul Fellows, Head of Drama at Bretton Woods School, Peterborough, and has been a resounding success since its conception. The youth theatre is a non-profit organisation open to children of the ages 11-20, and unlike many other youth theatres, does not require an audition in order to become a member. The aims of the theatre are to provide a professional atmosphere where all can learn and develop their skills regardless of background, exposing young people to quality theatre, through top quality teachers and in-house written plays and musicals. The theatre has approximately 30 members, putting on two annual productions and also a Christmas show. The Christmas show is a perfect foil for the young members to demonstrate their ability and craft through innovative small plays and sketches, written and performed by themselves. This culminates in three quality productions which are produced with the aim to entertain audiences of all ages. Furthermore it enables its members to be exposed to a variety of styles of theatre and explore issues of concern to young people. This is achieved through a focus on productions where young characters are the focal point of the story, providing all its members with the opportunities to explore other worlds and cultures. http://www4.50megs.com/byt/
