Another story of a gay boy growing up, this time escaping from Ireland. Anthony Keigher tells of his life before and after getting to London in script and song. Unfortunately, the script is not very exciting or witty, nor are the song lyrics. His is a charming performer but the pace is slow to the point of self-indulgence. Nor is he the most interesting dancer. We had a long pause while he did a slow costume change – I was hoping for full drag, but the fact was less exciting. He enjoyed a sympathetic audience but his gentle ramble left me wanting more of the bitch.
