Ahh, what a delight. Of course, at Garsington, it is not just the opera that impresses; the afternoon tea, the picnics around the grounds in the interval and the wonderful grounds all add to the experience. 

This is a lively production full of the fun that you'd expect and with an easy and slick translation on the sur/sub titles that had the audience laughing. Excellent performances throughout with a special mention for Ailish Tynan as a crazy and thoroughly engaging Despina.
