Perhaps a curious choice for a transfer as many who would have wanted to see it will have gone to Stratford - but nonetheless, having missed it myself I was very glad of the opportunity to travel to London (2.75 hours there, 3.75 back) to see this masterful production.
Antony Sher's Will descent into breakdown is beautifully observed and Harriet Walter, as his stoic wife, is truly sympathetic. With a confident cast, a properly claustrophobic set and some fast paced direction this is a memorable night of theatre. Enjoy it? Well, Arthur Miller's plays often leave a sadness somewhere deep in your heart (this one does) but yes, you will enjoy it. Enormously.
