Get yourself scared at the Duke of York's
By Robert Iles - 28th Jun 2010

Ghost Stories started at the Liverpool Playhouse then moved to the Lyric Hammersmith (the two joint producing theatres) where it did so well (I know, I failed to get tickets!) that it got a transfer to The Duke of York's.

Don't worry, there's no spoilers here, I will obey the "Mouestrap Convention" and not reveal what you will see ... suffice it to say you will be scared, at the level of a good modern ghost train if nothing else ... I can see this show running a very long time and, if the audience we shared the experience with is typical, introducing a lot of non-theatregoers to the "live theatre" experience.

It did have some of the feel of a good theme park experience, but it is genuine theatre and very entertaining ...

A great time out ... enjoy!
