How I Learned to Swim

Beautifully told story of Jamie, who learns to swim at thirty. Of course, her past gives reasons for the delay and her present explains her change. Light and sound in the Roundabout enhance the play, but it is the actor's skill in pace and pause which makes this special. Careful use of her pool set ensures this in the round production is absorbing and evocative.
