Part tribute show and part biography of the group this is a fast paced evening. Excellent singing brings a whole swathe of the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons back catalogue to life on stage, complete with that wonderful choreography we all enjoyed at the time but which now seems weirdly out of place. if anything, the show tries to fit too much into the ttime available and feels a bit rushed at times, but the history is interesting - curiously I found myself wanting more of the bio and less of the tribute, an unusual feeling but a measure of how fascinating the story behind the music was. At times the singing was a bit nasel, perhaps Frankie Valli really was but we didn't listen to just him for so long at a time. None the less, the evening was both delightful and informative and I defy anyone to go home not singing at least one of the songs, and, if they are of an age, wondering where their old disks or casettes went to ;-)
