I never expected that a show about a man battling cancer after contracting HIV would make me laugh so much. And when I wasn't laughing, I was smiling or holding back tears. Wow! Stuart Saint relishes support offstage but primarily here onstage from two excellent foils. Kimberley Ensor provides a formidable voice and Kieran McIntosh a great voice, body and alter-ego. There's intricate choreography as they swap roles as Misfit and Warrior to dramatize Stuart’s story. The songs burst with vigour. Frankly told with no gloss or pity (but killer makeup), this is a triumphant tale of Stuart Saint fighting despite the odds, and living to educate and entertain.
