Operation Mincemeat

I had wondered why this show was getting so many 5* reviews, more than any other show in London. I have now seen it and I wonder no longer - every 5* is earned and worthy!

A musical based on the true life World War II misdirection known as "Operation Mincemeat", this musical delivers excellent songs, comedy, fabulously choreographes scenes, madcap sections, no end of surprises and a poignant ending. This really does deliver on so many levels and is as close as you can get to a piece of pure entertainment whilst still delivering a complex human story.

The five person cast work their socks off delivering all the characters - despite the huge number of changes, you are never left wondering who's who and the whole is utterly credible and engaging.
