ENB's tour of Prokofiev's ballet

This is the second time I have seen this production and it continues to impress. This is Shakespeare's timeless love story brought to the stage with Nureyev's passionate choreography and Prokofiev's great score performed live by English National Ballet Philharmonic. Much of the music will be known, in snippets, to anyone who listens to Classic FM who play it a lot.

This is a very accessible show full of visual interest, great music and beautiful performances - a real treat and easy to follow for anyone with even a distant grasp of what must be one of Shakespeare's best known stories.

I enjoyed this in 2015 and I enjoyed it again last night - an excellent cast led by Aaron Robinson as Romeo and a quite magucal Jurgita Dronina as Julietwiyh a powerful Tyblat from Fabian Reimair.

A excellent tour from the ENB
