THE EMPTY SPACE PETER BROOK AWARD 2004 for Up-and-Coming Venues.

Having launched as a new writing theatre in 2002, been nominated for an award in 2003, Theatre 503 has won THE EMPTY SPACE PETER BROOK AWARD 2004 for Up-and-Coming Venues.
Theatre 503 have now staged almost 30 new plays by some of the most exciting emerging playwrights from the UK and beyond.

Following on from the success of their recent plays CANCER TIME by Gary Owen and FISHBOWL by Ignacio Apolo the current new play is ONE GLASS WALL by DANUSIA IWASKO which started as a PAINES PLOUGH Wild Lunch commission. She's a wonderfully talented writer with an original voice. Following this they have three more exciting writers, Neil Monaghan, Craig Baxter and Polly Wiseman.
