White Christmas

Thank you, The Mill, for such a lovely, warm, uplifting night out! Just thought I ought to say that up-front as it really was a magically Christmas-y night.  I love the film (and Holiday Inn) and can often be found singing "Snow", or "Sisters", to myself for no apparent reason - consequently I approach the evening with some caution as I didn't want to be disappointed. I wasn't. Not even remotely.

I have to say, this was probably the most enjoyable evening (of many enjoyable evenings) that I have had at The Mill - somehow it seems particularly suited to the show - the turkey dinner might have helped of course! The show itself was attacked with pace and enthusiasm by a talented and committed cast. I have always been a sucker for a big tap number, especially if you throw in some hats and canes, and I was given several really excellent ones. The set is versatile and effective, costumes are fabulous and overall the show really was a delight.

A Great pre-Christmas treat, well worth the journey. Thank you again The Mill!
