Come along to Pembrokeshire Drama Association's 24th annual One Act Festival where amateur theatre companies from across the County will be competing over two nights for a chance to represent Pembrokeshire in the National Finals. This weekend is an ideal introduction for new-comers to theatre or for people interested in taking up amateur theatre as a hobby. The festival is an opportunity for the audience to enjoy a wide range of plays and to learn more about all aspects of drama including set, direction and acting from our adjudicator, Jennifer Scott-Reid GoDA. The weekend culminates in an award ceremony and the announcement of the six top groups in Wales.

Although this is the first time at Brentwood Theatre, this Drama Festival celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in 2008 and is a firm favourite with many local groups and audiences. At each performance session three different groups will each present a one-act play which will be adjudicated "live". At the final session, awards will be presented for all aspects of play presentation. Each year, the Drama Association of Wales assists in the organising of 1-Act festivals in Wales. The drama groups scoring the most points now compete in the Wales Final, which this year is hosted by the Pembrokeshire Drama Association with the assistance of DAW.
