Rosalind Moysen's love of strong colour and intricate pattern has resulted in vibrant watercolours of exotic fruit, plants and flowers. An oriental influence threads through a more subtle aspect of her work, which includes slightly abstract interpretations of buildings and secret gardens. Using watercolour combined with a medley of media such as lace, gesso and tissue paper, she creates a textural sense of mood and mysticism.
