The Dream

T0
Adapted from Shakespeare. This new production from Cornelius and Jones draws on the traditions of Tudor entertainment, jigs, comedy and clowning. This is an insight into the workings of Elizabethan Theatre, combined with an introduction to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Outside the Globe Theatre, Nell, the orange seller tries to cheer up a disappointed crowd. Unfortunately the afternoon's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream is full, so Nell decides to entertain the people left outside and keep them informed of the progress of the play. However the performance inside the theatre is running into trouble, and Nell the orange seller is not all she seems... Suitable for 5-12 year olds.
