Inspired by a newspaper report about the remains of an old lady that were found on a traffic island in the West Midland, the show creates the final expansive moments of Mildred Thomas; an imaginary life that is full of perverse fate, missed opportunity and abandonment. Wild fantasy and grim reality merge in a gentle, humorous and moving story about chance, life choices and the isolation prevalent in people's lives at the start of the 21st century.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
