First UK performance of a new work being developed by Devika Rao in collaboration with Katie Ryan, Manuela Benini, Prem Rai, Yorkshire Dance and sampad. Concept and mentoring by Piali Ray and Chitraleka Bolar. Music by Praveen Rao. The work uses bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi and Yakshagana to explore the roles of women in traditional contemporary societies.
