An empty theatre. An ambitious young director. A day to rehearse. No cast. No set. No script. No hope. But as they say, where there's a will there's a way. So after assembling a bizarre bunch of misfits, Cecilia B Demille (famous as far away as Smethwick) attempts to create a monumental piece of theatre without the aid of a safety net! Luvvies in the Air is a humorous look at what goes on behind the scenes when putting on a play. Bickering cast members. Prima donnas. Actors who wouldn't know downstage right if it came up to them and said 'Hi I'm downstage right'. Technicians afraid of heights. A backstage crew more intent on painting each other than the set.
