Katie wants to kill Dave, just to stop him talking. Because now the whole town thinks that their son is ill - really ill - and everyone is suddenly falling over themselves to lend a helping hand. As a family seemingly fractures it brings a community together and what starts with a stick of chewing gum, ends with the whole town staring at you. Family is a dark comedy about being part of something that can tear you apart but can also put you back together again.
